2008 YARD OF THE MONTH CONTEST
The Martinsburg Borough Council, along with the Cove Garden Club, is once again conducting the YARD OF THE MONTH CONTEST during the months of June, July, August and September 2008. A yard belonging to a resident of the Borough of Martinsburg will be nominated and judged as the most eye-catching yard in town. Each winner will be given a sign to display in their yard throughout the month indicating that they have been chosen as the Yard of the Month winner and their picture will be in the Morrison's Cove Herald.
The Martinsburg Borough Council would like to thank everyone for your consideration and cooperation in this project. Our goal is to inspire borough residents to make our town as picturesque as possible. Should you have any questions, you may contact Councilwoman Suzanne McNally at 793-9606.
To nominate a yard for consideration, please stop in at the Borough office, or fill out the following form and click on the Submit button at the bottom. Remember, all nominees must be residents of the Borough of Martinsburg to qualify. Judges for the Yard of the Month are members of the Cove Area Garden Club.
